Title Mostly Chosen

So, I gave my editor a long list of possible titles, including the ones you folks came up with and she picked--Petronella Saves Nearly Everyone, or Petronella Saves Everyone. We're trying to see if the longer title will fit on the cover. Thanks for all your good ideas and your efforts. If you want, we could get together for lunch sometime and I'll buy dessert.

I like the "nearly" because it makes me smile. Good luck fitting it on the cover.

I like the "nearly" as well. It makes me wonder who doesn't get saved...

Congrats! I like the "nearly" too. Where did you come up with the name Petronella? Is it an actual name? I've never heard it before.

I like that title! It fits very well with the overall 'attitude' of the book.

I could hear Petronella, herself, saying it :)

With a regretful sigh, of course, because she wishes she could have saved everyone.

I'm glad you like the "nearly" because I think it makes the title fun.

Yessiree--Petronella is indeed a name. It was made up during the neo-classic era in England where all things Greek or Roman or Egyptian were popular. It comes from the name of the ancient city of Petra.
