Summer time! Writing season! I always get more writing done in the summer than during the school year. Sure, the kids are all here, but they play with each other and leave me alone. During school I have PTA, volunteering in classrooms, and a bored pre-schooler to contend with.

Summertime for me, too. At least this summer is when I am just sitting around being close to my father in case he needs me. He tries to give me blocks of time to write. So this summer I have revised ET2 three more times (it's off to the editor as of last week) and have written 16 chapters of a new book for a new series. As soon as school starts, I am teaching and grading and get very little grading done. Wouldn't it be wonderful to not have to work at all besides writing? What a dream.
