Life has been Drama lately. I was going to blog about all the drama today, but have been reconsidering publishing it. It's one thing to self-deprecatingly mock myself, but it's another thing to discuss how others affect my life. I can't do it without sounding like I'm whinging or complaining. Just the very act of blaming some of one's own problems on somebody else makes one sound petty.
My blog is going fine, otherwise, and I'm happy to have it as a weekly exercise to hone my writing skills. I haven't done much on my middle grade novels since WIFYR. There are pieces missing in my mind before I can dive into the project.
However, I have been reworking an unpublished children's picture book I've written as a chapter book. I'm working on that now and I'm very excited about it. I hope to have it done before the end of the month.
Contributors to this blog attended BYU's 2008 Writing and Illustrating for Young Readers Workshop - Science Fiction and Fantasy section taught by Brandon Sanderson. This blog is established as a way to keep in touch, share happy news, share advice and critiques, and in all ways continue to take part in each others' creative process.
